Groups
I believe a book like mine would be very helpful to everyone dealing with any
life-threatening disease or death and is primarily aimed at three groups:
1) Cancer patients, who number over a million and a half and are looking for an uplifting, in-depth manual with spiritual and lifesaving lessons to help them maintain a positive self image while guiding them through treatment
2) Patient’s families and friends, the ten million cancer survivors and the millions who care for them who want to know what to expect in the days ahead and how to help or seek additional assistance for their loved ones. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services and the National Family Caregivers, caregivers lives are shortened by ten years, and they have a higher percentage of becoming seriously ill from the stress associated with care giving. SURVIVING CANCERLAND addresses their core message and shows readers how to take care of themselves while caring for others.
3) Professionals, who number in the millions, whose livelihoods depend on providing treatment and support to this particular group and their families.
